Set Up Procedure
Towercraft can be easily connected to existing BMU systems inc. 30-40 minutes.
The existing cradle is detached from the BMU at ground level and the Towercraft support beam is attached to the BMU cables.
Typical capacity of BMU butterfly is 1.5t; Towercraft robot is 500kg. Steel rope is certified to 1.5t; Our shackles and beam are fully certified to UK standards.
Operational Control
Managed by two trained operators: One positioned at the top of the building One at ground level Each operator is certified through a comprehensive training program.
Mounting System
Towercraft is installed on existing systems such as monorails, Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), spider cranes, or mobile cranes—ensuring broad compatibility.
Mobility
The robot can move vertically and horizontally along the building’s exterior, depending on operational needs.
Power Supply
Connected directly to the building’s power grid, with access points at the roof or base.
All Towercraft operators undergo a rigorous and comprehensive programme of training in the set up, operation and take down of Towercraft.
All Towercraft cleaning solutions are supplied by EcoLab and other carefully selected partners.
Specific formulations and concentrations are identified in consultation with the solution supplier to maximise functionality and minimize excess product usage.
Other external partnerships include international BMU manufacturers and ESG compliance consultants.
